Continuing the series of activities to implement the Vietnam-Belgium International Collaboration Project 6.2 “Establishing a sustainable production chain of swiftlet farming (aerodramus fuciphagus) in Binh Thuan province (Vietnam): assessing new supplementary feed sources related to the nutritional quality of post-harvest bird’s nests”, on the morning of February 10, 2023, University of Phan Thiet was honored to be the organizer of the workshop to introduce this project. Projects 6.2 is within the framework of the collaboration program between the two Governments of Vietnam and Wallonie-Bruxelles (Belgium) in the period 2022-2024 and was approved in Official Dispatch No. 238/BKHĐT-KTDN dated January 12, 2022 of the Ministry of Planning and Investment and Official Dispatch No. 261/BGDDT-HTQT dated January 24, 2022 of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Not only stopping at the general introduction of Project 6.2, the Workshop created a lively discussion forum among representatives of State management agencies, scientists, businesses and people related to agriculture field. The Workshop provided many ideas to help Project 6.2 be more successful in the future, creating a premise for the sustainable development of swiftlet farming in Binh Thuan province in particular and in Vietnam in general.
